This former Capital of Gujarat has various elements revolving around it for around 600 years, making it the city we know it today; from Architecture to People, Lifestyle to Economy; every part acted as a LEGO block for the city.

Here, I had tried to capture these parts into one photo album as a part of the project called 'Parts of Amdavad'.

'Heritage City' has been now overused for this city just within a couple of years when it received the title from UNESCO. But what does makes the city a heritage city? From Hindu-Islamic to Modernist, Ahmedabad was & is the experimental lab for Architects & Designers from every era. 

Day in, Day out; things goes in harmonic with it's environment. From Need to greed, fancy & fascinating, city gives glimpses of all sort of elements to it's residents & visitors, making it one of India's Thriving City.

Gujarat = Business ; is a very stable & proven equation which everyone is well aware off & Ahmedabad being it's heartbeat for 600 years brought revolutionary changes in the way people traded & lived their life through Business, irrespective of the scale.

Like how a house with family members is called home; Ahmedabad with it's residents is called Amdavad. People love the city; they blend in, experience it & fall for the city forever.

Amdavad is one of the most unique city of the county; not because of any factual data but of visual experience one have if he/she walks down the city through it's skeletons & muscles, like me with my Nikon D7200, 18-55mm lens.
